Chef Owner Richard Langston's menus celebrate the integrity of ingredients, sourced locally when possible, and prepared simply to showcase the natural flavors of the products. We work with local producers, growers and suppliers to bring in fresh, sustainably grown produce, meat, fish, eggs, honey and other ingredients. Suppliers include: Matthews All-Natural Meats, Waterwheel Gardens, Sweet Valley Family Farms, Shoots & Greens and Purple Sage Farm, Acme Bakeshop, Dawson Taylor, Peaceful Belly among others. The wines on our award-winning wine list are selected to complement the menu. Selections are sourced from both the old and new worlds: Italy, France, Spain, Oregon, California, Washington, and Idaho. Idaho’s burgeoning wine industry allows us to include great wines produced here in our own state.

My husband and I just had a lovely Valentines Day here tonight! All the food and service was top notch, especially for this affordable price range. There was a desert special that was particularly good! Thank you Richards for an awesome experience. We will be back!

Great food and the staff was just as excellent. We went to celebrate a special occasion and was very pleased with our whole experience. The lunch menu wasn't overwhelming, but everyone in our party enjoyed the food they ordered. They didn't have a kids menu, so that's something to think about if your party has kids. I'll definitely come back!!

Has lunch here. Food was very tasty. Not many people as it's a Monday which was nice. Service was prompt and friendly, and the decor is tasteful and high quality without being over the top and stuffy. We have stayed at the Inn at 500, but this was our first time eating in the restaurant. All around great place. Free valet parking with validation from the restaurant. Will have to come back and try breakfast and dinner here.

Richard's is a top-notch Italian restaurant in Boise. For several years it was in a different location, and now it is attached to the new Inn at 500 hotel.We tried some of their signature entrees, including cannelloni and chicken with forty cloves of garlic. The cannelloni was some of the best I have ever ordered in a restaurant. The garlicky chicken was moist and extremely flavorful! The service was great; our server Shana did an amazing job! The ambiance and atmosphere was classy and upbeat with a full house during dinner time.I plan to definitely go back to Richard's any time I return to the Boise area.
